40% of the respondents reinforced the point by saying that the online marketplace was an opportunity waiting to be explored and over 54% of them emphasised the importance of digitisation.
By far, forwarders believe that e-commerce is the biggest and most promising sector. This will be the next largest category that will need to be explored and exploited.
While tight margins remain one of the biggest challenges of the industry, they see leveraging the power of digital as an avenue to work around it and improve their offerings.
